I know that I’ve been letting this blog languish. Is that because going back and forth between two countries isn’t really traveling? So, I’m going to try something new here. One of my favorite blogs is The Morning Porch in which Dave Bonta describes, in 140 characters or less, the view from his porch in Pennsylvania. A rich portrait builds up over time. I like the way he creates a whole scene in a couple of sentences, and I’d like to try that here, although I’m not trying to stay within 140 characters. You will get to travel around the Robert College woods, hear what I hear, see what I see, feel what I feel. I will get to learn the names of some trees, birds, and bugs.
Just a little bit every day or so.
Here we go.
Gray sky pales in the east. In the west, an owl gives one last hoot.
