Ohh my, what a yummy poem! I like innovative ideas like this, super.
Well, I can go without desert -such as Vezir Parmagi as we call in turkish this recipe you wrote- but not without poetry. Now I feel myself lucky as you provided both, teşekkürler:)

What a great choice. That last stanza about a ” brief, fast frolic in lemony syrup ‘ is meant to poetry. Delightful. It makes me want to dig through some of my cookbooks for delicious phrases like that.
