I’m very interested about the private oud lessons in Cairo.
I live in Greece and study arabian oud.
Can you give me some infos and advices about the lessons?
Teachers speak only arabic or english too?

Yeah that post was probably a bit off. I was frustrated. It really isn’t too bad just need some rest somedays. We have gymnastics Tuesday night for michal and wednesday morning for jackson. We will be going swimming thursday I think. So really any day but thursday would be good. Michal is going to CA on July 13 and then he will stay for 3 days with Bob and Cathy when he gets back for a summer camp with Nick.

Thanks for delicious post. I say this as a former Cairo pedestrian. I remember a conversation with my father on visit home (to Alex) during school break. Complaining about local pedestrian behavior, he described a typical encounter from the driver’s point of view. I countered with philosophy and best practices of being a pedestrian in Egypt (jaywalk, never cross a street a straight line - always on diagonal, never look at cars or let them know you see them coming because then their drivers would expect you to get out of their way). My father pulled a mock mournful face and, turning to my mother, said “I could run over an Egyptian pedestrian who turned out to be my own daughter.”

HAHA Ali that is hilarious. Not too many plans swim lessons gymnastics stuff like that. Michal will go to CA at the end of July for 2 weeks. That’s it.
